Four years ago on this day the Almighty One became my Lord.
Today was a wonderful celebration of His goodness in saving me and teaching me to love Him. A friend and I went to a coffee shop early in the morning to discuss our burdens, what the Lord has been teaching us, and to read Scripture by way of encouraging one another. The Lord was victorious as I overcame my fear and slipped a gospel tract to the lady who had served us coffee as I thanked her for the wonderful service. We drove to church (ahem, and got pulled over by a police officer on the way. Oh, leave it to me!) and worshiped my Lord. He has truly saved my soul . . . may such a incredible truth never become mundane to my heart.
Oh Lord, let me never lose my love for You. Never allow me to live one day on this earth apart from You without it being a hellish reality that readily causes my repentance.
