People

People people people. My frustrations and joys today came as a result of people. Let's start with the frustration part of it so that we end on a positive note. :) I'm teaching our neighbor's daughter piano lessons, starting Monday. Or should I say, I WAS going to teach her lessons starting Monday. The mom called me today and said that she just didn't know if it was going to work out. She brought up something about the lessons conflicting with a Bible club that they are having at their house. I knew about this Bible club before making the lessons arrangements and I specifically asked her if it was going to conflict! She assured me that it would be fine. Now, three days before the lesson she's trying to change it. Seriously.

On the flip side of that coin, I was more convinced today than ever that I have the most awesome friends on earth! I was talking to Chris on IM while he was at work and I mentioned that I was having a hard day. His reply was, "Why don't you call me? No, I'll just come home. Hang tight and I'll finish something up and be there in about an hour." Wow, my bro just gave up his lunch hour to hear his sister go crazy! He made sacrifices to be there for me. So he came home and he just listened to me tell him everything that was wrong. Thanks bro! :) Then later in the day I was a mess again and Lara was on IM just encouraging me and being there for me. A few hours later, I get a phone call from Mel saying that she thought I just needed a long talk.

I’m making this post from my new laptop, given to me for an early birthday present! I’ve like never used one before but I think I’m getting used to it. Yesterday I took class notes on it. Considering the fact that I type ten times faster than I write, I was in my glory! Chris was setting everything up on it the other night and he asked me what I wanted to name it. I was trying to get dinner ready and stuff so I just said, “I dunno. The Dell.” My dad was like, “Well that’s creative!” We finally all agreed on “Sixteen.” I took off the sweet part ;)

Welp people, that’s all for now. I’m off to lemon juice my hair! Have a good one.

Arg Mel! I had just convinced myself that my hair color being naturally artificial wouldn't be that bad. Now I'm thinking it will be the end of the world...;)
