Fun times, productive days

'I dunno' was the winning group of yesterday's Driver's Ed class. We were all split up into groups to analyze accidents as an "insurance company" and make decisions regarding raising premiums, etc. After we reached our conclusion we had to tell our instructor why we did what we did. The she told us why we were wrong or right and kept score to see which team analyzed correctly for each situation. My team didn't actually win (although we were close) but we did have the most fun! That makes us the winner.

Our unique name evolved when we couldn't make up our minds regarding a name. After the instructor asked us three times and got the same answer of "um, I dunno" she named us the "I Dunno Insurance Company." *wow* Great name. At least it was a source of laughter for the class...

Today was productive! Yes! :-D I decided that I'm tired of summer laziness. So before 9:45am I had exercised, washed two cars, and cleaned the house for an hour. Not that ya'll really wanted to know that. It just felt so good!

This afternoon I spent three hours in traffic safety. Too much fun indeed! Well actually, the drive that I did was kind of fun. While I was going 40mph, which was the speed limit, the instructor told me that I needed to have less of a "race car" feel to my driving. I'm sure that he knows what he's talking about but I would have never described my driving as having a race car feel! Although, I must admit that it is fun to accelerate when you're driving a cute little Honda. Anyway, he gave me good marks on the drive so I guess he didn't think I was too awful.

Yesterday I got my first official job for teaching piano lessons! I'm excited and scared to death. I've never taught anyone anything before. Every time I talk about it out loud I say everything with utmost confidence. Maybe if I keep talking that way I'll convince myself that I really do know what I'm doing. :)

Well, that must be the most unorganized, messy post I've ever written. I'm too tired to do anything about it though. If you made it this far, congrats! :)

Larz - Of course I washed a car! Actually *blushes* it was the first time in my life. It turned out beautifully though!
