It has been several days . . . one week almost.
I am finally on the computer again, though most everyone has been updated by someone else anyway. :-)
We praise the Lord for a very good, smooth labor and delivery free from complications. It was good timing too. Haven was born at 9:21pm Thursday evening. We wrapped up our baby, fed and loved on her and fell asleep with her snuggled between us.
The entire process always leaves me in amazement of our Creator. He does all things well.
Haven ~ A Place of Rest
We pray that our little girl will find true rest and security in a love relationship with Jesus Christ one day. He is our joy and our portion. We have tasted and known the sweetest of our Savior and now we have no greater desire than that she would know and love Him.
Praise ~ To Glorify God
We give thanks to the Lord for the blessing of Haven's life. May she glorify God and enjoy Him forever.

I have so enjoyed the time that Luke has taken off from work this time around with having a new baby. I told him last night that just having so much time with him made the pain of natural childbirth worth it! :-) I love this man! I could never have dreamed up a better father for these adorable little ones.
Having a three and two year old bound into my bedroom early in the morning to snuggle and kiss on Haven is so great. They all really love her (even Eden puts her arms out to hold her and goes to get her blanket for her).
Thank you all for your prayers, gifts and meals and coming by to visit and share in our joy . . .
