Zeke being sweet during a hay ride . . .
My "can do" girl!
Happy baby. Happy Grandma.
These pictures are old and the memory of them is fading . . .
That's probably about the only thing I really don't like about having kids so close together in age. I love the moments but I don't have a spare minute to record or ponder them. :-)
Zeke and I were playing in the leaves outside a couple of days ago. I started throwing them up in air over his head and he laughed because of the fun of it. He copied me, throwing as many leaves as he could muster. Only, he grabbed some dirt too and came too close to my face. I squinted, smiling at him. He paused, saying, "Oh, sorry Mommy! Brush you off." It made me smile . . . I wished that I had a camera or that I could somehow remember. All of these kiddos change around me so quickly and do things that make me smile (and well, let's be honest, plenty of things that could make me sigh too but it's not so bad when you realize that these days will soon be over and most of the "bad" isn't worth frowning over).
Little E got her first couple of teeth and she's started "jabbering" in such a hilarious nature. Her expressions are so real . . . the "conversation" is so real to her. Zeke just sits on my lap laughing and laughing as I talk to her and she "talks" back.
Charis is . . . well . . . she's where most of my energy goes right now. Anyone who doesn't believe in a sin nature never attempted raising children. :-) My aim is to never ignore. And never crack down hard just because I neglected them. Charis has her sweet times too . . . for sure. I found her on my bed yesterday with her doll, wrapped in a blanket. She had the doll up on her shoulder, patting her back gently. I told her that she was a good mommy, and a pretty one too. She understands everything you tell her. I love that.
Ok, enough ranting. Zeke and I are off to get some work done . . .

Love being a part of these kiddos growing and learning. Thanks for sharing them with us! Being "Ma" to these three precious ones is such a joy!
