Sometimes and Always

Sometimes I awake and I fear that it was all merely a dream
Sometimes I try to express my thanks in prayer
Sometimes I find that a smile says so much more than words ever could
But my heart is always full of thanks for all that God has done

Sometimes I stumble and I fall
Sometimes my faith is weak
Sometimes I see the depth of it all and it drives me to my knees
But it always draws me closer to the God whom I love

Sometimes we talk together
Sometimes we ponder Scripture together
Sometimes we pray together
But there is always so much peace in being together before our mighty Lord
