refuse to walk alone

Your eyes were once fixed ahead
Now you reached a bend
You thought you were going one direction
Alas, the sovereign One calls you to turn

You pause one moment before walking this path
Another command the Holy One gives
Take another with you
Refuse to walk alone

You weigh the cost
You try your heart
You realize that love
Will rip you apart

But you reach back your hand
And grab someone’s arm
You open your hand
Your heat is stretched forth

. . . you determine to love because the Almighty first loved you

I love your poetry!
The pic looks great turned black and white. . . although I have to say, I think my face looks a
little chubby ; )
