Christmas Eve fun at the Pittock Mansion! . . . the mansion was neat; being with my family was incredible.

Merry Christmas, Allison!! Fun pictures!
I was going to call you the other day when I was out at that grocery store with the coffee stand we visited during IPS. I had the same cup of coffee I had when we went, and would have called you except that I didn't have a cell phone. :P
Jamie - ah!! I just need to break down and call you sometime before I start teaching again and everything goes back to crazy living. Going back to that same place to have coffee is something we need to do together in the near future. :)
Eric - I had a wide angle lens on . . . my aperture was about 3.2. It should have been fine but right now I am extremely frustrated with photography in general. Most of the stuff is indoors and using flash just pains me . . .
Yes, we do need to talk. But with your brother home, I never know when a good time is.
We need to get together soon. I just got a telephoto lens and am itching to get together and shoot with another photography buddy!
I'm a little frustrated with coffee at this point as well. But hey, you have a lower f/stop on the wide angle lens of yours, then I do on either of mine. Ones f/3.5 and the other is f/4. I keep them on either f/5.6 all the time, and the lowest they go.
jamie - My brother is working and everything is rather "normal" . . . we just do special stuff on the weekends. (Shopping trips, shooting, skiing, and whatever else I can do with the most awesome man on earth) Anyhow, I will try to call you tomorrow. :)
Heh. Just wait. Someday I"m sure you'll meet a "more awesome man". ;-) Let's see, there are no dates on here, so I assume you are/were going to try and call today?! Please do. I"m in the middle if a sewing project and could use a nice break. :-D

Love you! :hugs:
Looks like you had some fun. However, it looks like you need a lens with a larger aperture for indoor photos.
Take care,
EMH

Frustrating, humm. What's causing you to become frustrated in your photography?
