In this we rejoice

I will tell you the reason why I love the Christian walk. I love the beauty of conviction. It is the ever present understanding of my sin in which this understanding causes me to long for heaven. This is why I love Christmas. For in this time we rejoice that He did empty Himself of Himself and came as fully God and fully man. His agony and death changed my life and set me free. Now each day is one more step toward a blessed eternity. In this, we rejoice.
