Ah well, here we go again

Nothing in my life goes as planned. Seriously, it has become almost completely laughable. Would you believe me if I told you that I am now quarantined for the third time because of the Chicken Pox? I don't exactly know what the Lord is trying to teach me with this whole thing. With each time I become less and less upset. I'm not sure if that's good or not because now I almost have a "whatever" attitude. As old as I am, it is not going to be fun if I get them and I would probably miss some school. Oh, school! That's the other thing that isn't going as planned.

Mathematics has always been my strong point. I loved Algebra 1 because I had a great teacher. Geometry was hard but when I set my mind to it and did well, I really enjoyed it. I feel in love with Algebra 2 right away. So anyhow, this year is Precalculus. Last year, math homework took me 20 minutes a night at the most. First day of Precalc and...whoa! Welcome to life. I got the first graded problem wrong. I was shocked. The homework that night took me over an hour. So I'm waving goodbye to my "easy" senior year. Ah well, as I told Lara, hard work never hurt anyone. :)

All and all, life right now is full of unexpected disappointments. So I'm just over here going with the flow, rolling with the punches and doing my best to yield every expectation to the Lord.

On the bright side of things, I had a wonderful time camping with my family last weekend. Yes, it rained during the trip. Anyone that knows our family knows that we can't go camping without it raining. Ah well, it makes our vacations memorable! ;)

Alright, I'm off to do some of that lovely homework. Have a good one ya’ll.

well, i think that the Lord could be teaching you to yield all your plans to Him. i mean, you had so much layed out, which that's great! (that's the type of person i am too!) but then He throws a rock in the pond, causes some ripples, and we HAVE to lay all our plans at His feet and trust His timing. hang in there, sis'!! oh, and the precal will get better. :)

Colin - Well, you didn't have a 45 minute class to watch before the homework. :) But I am blessed to have an instructor. I think I'd be lost otherwise! Oh, and thanks for the camping advice ;)

Mel - You're so right! Pray for me if you would.

Thanks Eric, I shall try :)

Thanks Kelc! It's getting better. :)

Well Lara, I found some free time and decided to make you happy by updating my blog. ;) Oh, and I got my ears done last Thursday. My grandma wanted to do that for my birthday. After hearing Shay's story I'm guessing that having it done "professionally" was the best option. ;) Anyhow, thanks so much for calling me on Sunday. That was really sweet of you!!
