Last night was my older brother's 18th surprise birthday party. I was so nervous about it! He's the type of guy that doesn't like social things but he loves Costco and he ended up loving this party! *whew* He got his picture taken with the staff and they framed the picture and signed it for him free of charge. Add to that: great friends, awesome flip flops, a fun game, free cake and a free Costco hat. He was in his glory! I know, I have a weird brother but who on earth doesn't love him to death!?
Starting tomorrow, I'm officially quarantine because of the chicken pox. :-/ I actually thought that I wasn't going to have to isolate myself until Monday but I counted the days wrong. Here I was looking forward to going to church and having lunch at a friend's house and now I get to stay home and do....well nothing! Ok, I'll stop complaining. Ya'll would be complaining too if you had to cancel your trip to CA and stay home just because of a viruses that you may not even have! Not that such a fact makes my bad attitude ok. :(
Oh yah! I'm jetting to Costco to get stuff for the 4th! My last outing. :) Luv ya'll!!

yah, the paper pickle was AWESOME! I mean, it's something he's NEVER gotten before and prlly won't ever get again...(really it should be framed and put on the wall next to the costco pic!)

Uh, I'm not sure I would go as far as to frame the thing though! He does have it in his "card box." Is that good enough?

Larz - the card box is, well I dunno. I know that he doesn't keep those cards where people just sign it. (Like at Christmas and the such) I can't see my bro reading them though. Maybe...
Ok... he should at least keep this paper pickle till I can see it. But, I think I'm going to have to stick with my initial assessment. I mean, I love pickles (just ask Chase), but I like eating them, not so much reading and looking at them. ;-)

Pickles are so gross. Have ya'll ever made them?! Just a random comment on pickles though. My grandpa (a very intelligent man) didn't know they came from cucumbers! So if you hear the phrase "like a pickle plant" you'll know the inside joke :)
