Behold, I Will do a New Thing

Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past. Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert . . . The people whom I formed for Myself will declare My praise.

But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art Mine.

You are precious in my sight. You are honored and I love you.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.

EXCERPTS FROM ISAIAH 43

Flee, whispering lies
You cloud my sight of joy
One is at work
Doing new things

Take flight, idle thoughts
You steal my strength
Victory is mine
God reigns

Die, prideful words
You know not things eternal
I am precious
In the eyes of my Redeemer

Love the pictures! Love those passages of Scripture from Isa. &
love your poem! Still think you should write a book in your "spare" time!
