Thank You

Thank you for . . .

Staying late at work and not complaining
Coming home when you said you would, even when there is more work to do

Encouraging me to spend quality time with the Lord
Leading us in prayer every night

Sharing your unabridged thoughts with me
Wanting my opinion

Listening to me when I need to talk
Making me talk about things I would rather not

Putting your arm around me when you sit next to me
Letting me hug you, even when you're busy

Delighting in our little boy
Praying for Ezekiel's salvation

Buying me ice cream
Reminding me to eat and drink

Doing dishes for me
Waiting patiently for me when I have to do "one more thing"

Being patient with my many failures
Quickly admitting when you are wrong

Loving our Lord to the utmost
And then loving me

What more could a little girl's Daddy ask for in a spouce, partner, friend, and leader in a husband?

I know dad! Thanks for being such a wonderful father and protector for your little girl. Where would we be if you had not been watching out for me and thus, making that phone call to "Luke a Luke a Luke a Luke!" : )

Love you!

OK, so just make me cry first thing on a Friday morning! I'm so glad that God saved Luke for you. What a blessing he has been to us as well!

Just want you all to know that this works both ways - How very thankful we are for the wonderful daughter-in-love that the Lord gave us. What a special thing the Lord did for.

Love to you all! Judi

I stumbled on your blog through the "next blog" button and what a pleasant surprise. This post brought tears to my eyes. Simply written and exactly the words I pray to share with my future spouse. To have man that loves the scriptures and the Lord...."You lucky girl"... it's a rarity.

So know that a stranger is admiring you from afar. And because I feel connected to you through our many similarities I may just have to say hi every once in awhile - if that's not too creepy lol One can never have too many friends. ;)

O, and when you get a chance, a Thanksgiving post, maybe? With pictures? I know you're busy with a big & little Luke :-P So... whenever you get a chance.
