Last Friday I walked through the front door with a few bags of baby clothes that my mom and I had found at random resale shops . . . I was trying to determine how I was going to explain buying a pink cape to my husband when we had no reason to believe that I was having a girl. : - )
My handsome was at the door to greet me. My current desire was to hug him. After all, we had been apart for a few hours. I turned around as our hug ended and something different in the dining room captured my attention. Wait! No . . . how did he pull that off? He had managed to get a piano to our upstairs apartment (with the help of some family and friends) while I had been away that afternoon. I found myself in his arms again, thanking him . . . before I ran over to check it out.
It is so different having a piano, rather than a keyboard. I find myself getting less done these days . . .
Plus, with a baby on the way, it would ideal to be able to give lessons here.
I have one sweet guy . . .

What a guy! He was thrilled planning that surprise for you. I'm glad you have a piano and I can't wait to go shopping again, especially if we end it with strawberry shortcake.:)
I should add to that comment that Dave and Peter were so kind to deliver the piano. What a family you married into. You are blessed!
We are looking for another blog entry. These sure slowed down after marriage but are hoping that they pick up with the birth of your little one.
