He is LORD

Creating everything that was and will be
He is my creator
They will know that He is LORD

Punishing sin wherever it is found
My God is just
They will know that He is LORD

Coming as fully God and fully man
He is Jesus Christ
They will know that He is LORD

Living a sinless life, though tempted on every side
He is the perfect and holy One
They will know that He is LORD

Taking on the sin of the world
He was despised and rejected
They will know that He is LORD

Suffering unspeakable agony
He is the Savior
They will know that He is LORD

Capturing hearts
He is a merciful God
They will know that He is LORD

One day, coming back in fury
Full of wrath because of sin
They will know that He is LORD

Now death crouches at your door
Fear grips your heart
For the most important task was left undone

You never bent your knee
You never made Him LORD
Now you will go to your appointed death

And if you could shout from the gates of hell
Oh, how you would warn those who lay and wait at its door
Yet they will not make Him LORD

They continue through their preparatory lives
Each second they are one less heart beat away
From when they will confess - when it is yet too late - that He indeed is LORD
