I took a step back, crossed my arms, and let the time pass as I lost myself in observation. Luke and I were standing in the lumber section of Home Depot . . . this was the first trip to Home Depot that I actually enjoyed. Luke was mentally designing the platform that he would build for our wedding. Well, I guess it was not all mental imagination. We got the legos out one night to configure some dimensions. (That's professional wedding planning for ya')
Back in the days of being "just friends" he had told me that he enjoyed building things. I never would have imagined that seven months later I would be watching him build a platform for our wedding . . . good thing I did not know that at the time. Talk about losing sleep. Yikes.
Proud of my man.
