Honey, women are just . . .

The conversation was somewhat serious.

My parents and I were being honest with each other; getting things hashed out.

It takes a load of the mind and off of the conscience.

Amidst this "serious" conversation my mom exclaimed:

"Honey, I already told you that woman are just . . . stupid!"

My dad and I were doubled over for a little while, lost in laughter. My mom sat there with a confused look on her face - I think she was actually serious.

And . . . I must say that I agree with her statement now more than ever.
