fun fun

There is always laughter in our home . . . sometimes for more than one reason. A. My mother is being herself. B. I am getting my second wind. C. Someone is driving us crazy and the easiest response is to lose ourselves in laughter. D. Jacob is pulling words from the depth of his vocabulary, being wild, and making us all laugh.

So, thanksgiving was defined by:

  • My new inspiration of learning how to fold napkins to look different than normal. I ended up with this "fan" fold. Talk about a blast! I love learning new little things like that . . .
  • Making pies (many thanks to my mother for helping me late into the night!)
  • Family coming over. That adds to the laughter . . . for one of the reasons listed above. Think whatever you wish.
  • Jacob dressed like an little Indian. "Swift arrow" and I played random games and acted like kiddos together.
  • My mother is an incredible hostess, excellent cook - she always has a great attitude, even when she has every right in the world to not be cheerful!
