LAUGHTER

My family is "different." No doubt. I love how we can laugh about everything. Well, almost everything.

My parents and I can be in a debate about something. We can be disagreeing and completely frustrated with each other. All of our strong wills combine with passionate emotions and . . . whoa. The entire time though there doesn't seem to be any broken fellowship. We argue and laugh simultaneously. Seriously.

I remember the time that I was in ER. My mom was semi freaking out and seeing her worried was worse than the pain I was feeling. So we just started talking and, no joke, we planned my funeral while we waited. I had it mapped out, down to what I wanted people to wear. My mom and I were dying laughing over the details and the random remarks that we were making to each other.

I miss Chris a ton because he always brings so much laughter to our home. When he is telling a story about something that happened at work, tickling Jacob, and teasing mom and I - he always makes me smile. Eight more weeks until he is home!!

I love my fam . . .
