No Other Cause

I find myself in a care free world
And in this care free world is a laissez-faire church
Out of this care free world God has elected average people
He caused them to become tenacious warriors for His glory

These tenacious warriors remain in a care-free world
They bump shoulders with the laissez-faire church
They begin to long for a hassle free life in this “just do it” culture
Some discover that they cannot have both lives – they chose by default

Their heart beat determines their breath and their step
Before they understand they have turned from warrior living to liberal do nothingness
They are gathered and are thrown out for; they begin to pollute the warrior regimen
Those who remain experience further pain and antagonism

The reality of pain never brings comfort until you understand the purpose of battle
You fix your eyes on the General. The truth of the cross strengthens your heart
You remember that love will cause Him to allow such wounds
For He is pruning, refining and shaping

. . . no other cause remains, save, the glory of God the Father
