I was visiting my grandparents tonight. As I drove away, my grandma stood in the garage and waved goodbye until I was out of sight. She and grandpa have always done that. I remember blowing kisses to them as a young girl and leaning back in the seat with my neck stretch back so that I could wave for as long as possible.
Family glorifies Christ when it represents our relationship with the Almighty.
When I am old and grey I want to be waving goodbye to grandchildren who love my Lord. Today cannot be spent living for today. Will my great grandchildren glorify God with their lives?
The habits that I form, the choices that I make, the integrity of my work, the dept of my love for Christ, my determination to reach out and prod people closer to Christ will affect my children, my grandchildren, my great grandchildren . . . the world. The Lord Christ must be glorified.
