We drove all over Brush Prairie and Battle Ground. I walked up to three doors, asking the home owners if I could use their barn or tire swing for a photo shoot. We did some rail road track images . . . fun stuff.
Nothing was as stunning as this green door.
We drove past a run-down day care center that was painted yellow with lime green trim. I slammed on the breaks and exclaimed, “Look at that green!!” My friend was looking at me like I was going crazy . . . but I was in love with this backdrop.
I love how photography causes you to look at average surroundings and see the beauty that can be pulled out or the unique character that can be expressed.
