Reaching your goal is success.
The goal is unwavering obedience.
Accomplishing a task or fulfilling a vision; these are not truly the goal.
The goal is being yielded.
The goal is learning to say, "Yes Lord."
The goal is to better know our faithful God.
The goal is the journey on which He takes us.
Sometimes our obedience never accomplishes a mighty task worth recognizing. Sometimes we never see our God given vision coming forth.
Our nation lies in shambles.
Families are torn apart.
Leadership is ripped away.
We are left with nothing.
Did we fail?
Success is obedience and obedience is the goal of the journey.

sounds like you're speaking from experience! You are so right. We always have the assurance that our decision was right before God. Quenching of relationships here on earth is manageable when we have an unhindered, unquenched relationship with our wonderful Savior.
Amen and Amen. Nice pic too! ; )
Speaking of pics, isn't it time to update your photo blog???
Hey Shay! I just updated my photo blog tonight...or this morning...whatever it is at this point!
did you write that, al? it was really neat!!! in this society we live in, it is very difficult to switch our idea of "success". for Christians, success should be being made more andm ore like Christ!
